Youth Contact offers outpatient and intensive outpatient child, youth and family counseling for Washington County children and youth with behavioral and/or emotional problems including trauma. Therapy may include psychiatric services when needed.

Substance Use Disorder Services

Youth Contact offers substance use disorder treatments for children and youth with substance abuse issues. Our services include prevention, intervention, and treatment ranging from school-based support and activities to outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient counseling, and follow-up and aftercare.

Integrated Chemical Dependency Services

All of our clinicians are trained to assess and treat clients with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues.

How We Work

Our approach is strengths-based, action-oriented and practical, and treatment plans are specific to each individual. We value the partnership between clinicians and family members throughout all phases of a child’s treatment. Whenever possible, we connect with contact with the child and/or youth’s school and other community entities in which he/she is involved. The goal is to empower clients and their families for on-going success in their community and to ensure that they have the skills to do so, thereby promoting long term change.
